Training 1 or 2 year Mohs fellowship training program at an approved dermatologic surgery practice, university medical center, or other medical institution 4 day training course at an area hotel
Number of Cases Required

1 year fellowship:
• participate in 500 cases
• must be primary surgeon in at least 125 cases

2 year fellowship:
participate in 600 cases
• must be primary surgeon in at least 125 cases

• no requirement
Types & Difficulty of Cases

• 50 advanced reconstruction cases (i.e. skin grafts, flaps, etc.)
• 50 complex surgery cases (i.e. eyelid, genitalia, etc.)

• no requirement
Membership Levels and Requirements

Associate:
• complete an approved Fellowship Training Course
• submit full case log of training (500 or 600 cases)
• submit letter of recommendation from program director
• submit scientific article for publication

Fellow** (eligible after 3 years as an Associate):
• complete an approved Fellowship Training Course
• submit full case log of training (500 or 600 cases)
• submit letter of recommendation from program director
• submit scientific article for publication
• completed case log with 300 Mohs surgery cases performed after training

Associate:
• no requirement

 


Fellow:
• completed a minimum of 75 cases, having been proctored in at least one Mohs case
• two letters of reference
• must pass a Fellow examination


Doctors Clark and Flynn are Fellows of the American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS).
They have more than 30 years combined Mohs surgery experience resulting in the treatment of over 20,000 skin cancers.
