Cary Skin Center was very professional. It was clean, organized and efficient. I always enjoy going to a doctor's office (or any kind of office) where you can tell that there is a happy atmosphere. All of the employees from the front desk to the nurses and doctor and then to the check-out were so kind and friendly to the patients and to each other. There were smiling faces and laughter in the hallways. I could sense camaraderie as I observed the people working in the lab. My nurse was very caring and sweet to me. She and the doctor spent plenty of time with me to explain the procedure and answer questions.

I am so very pleased with my experience with Dr Ingraffea and supporting staff at the Cary NC location. Everything to do with my visit went smoothly from check-in to check-out. I had MOH's surgery, lower L calf and second-intention healing was chosen as the more appropriate method for my recovery. Honestly, I was stunned when I first saw the amount of tissue that was excised (first experience with this type of procedure) and thought "this will never heal properly" (I have poor circulation to my extremities). However, I am thrilled to report (approx. 2 months post op.) that it has filled in nicely and is almost completely healed. I have every confidence in The Cary Skin Center and the expertise proven in their chosen specialty. If you are going there, you can relax because I can promise you that you are going to get the very best of care.

Victoria was super helpful when I called to schedule an appointment with her. She took her time to ask questions and noted down the my concerns, then she tried her best to find me the earliest possible time. After the appointment being scheduled, she called again asking me to send some pictures so that they have a better idea on the situation ahead of time. (At least to me, this shows they care). Though I had to cancel the appointment for some other reasons, I know this is the place I will call when I need to go for a dermatologist.

Very personable and seemed to truly care about me as a patient. Didn’t have to wait long for any appointments and was reassuring to me as I was very anxious about the surgery.

Mohs Micrographic Surgery to remove a skin cancer was not on my 'to-do' list. It was a surprise. That said, I really enjoyed the procedure. They explained what they were doing and it went very well. No pain or discomfort during or after the visit. The opening healed in eight weeks, and I am optimistic that scarring will be minimal in six months. The staff is professional, competent, friendly and fun. They minimized my stress, and the time went quickly. I highly recommend the Cary Skin Center.
