COVID-19 ALERT

Cary Skin Center has taken measures to protect the health and safety of our patients, visitors, and clinic staff during this COVID-19 outbreak.

Cary Skin Center requires that everyone wear a mask over their nose and mouth when you come into the practice.

If you have any symptoms of a respiratory infection (e.g., cough, sore throat, fever, difficulty breathing or shortness of breath), please call us now to discuss this before your appointment.

If you have recently traveled outside the US, or have been on a cruise ship, or have had possible contact with COVID-19 patients, please call us now to discuss this before your appointment.

If you are unsure whether you have had contact with someone with symptoms, or someone who may have tested positive for COVID-19, please call us immediately for assessment and instructions before you come in for your appointment.

Cary Skin Center requests that patients be accompanied by only ONE visitor during any visit, and that NO CHILDREN accompany you to your appointment.

Biopsy Site Photos Needed For Appointments

You should send a marked photo of the biopsy site immediately upon making an appointment with our office. Biopsy site should be clearly marked on the photo. Adequately marked photos of the biopsy site are absolutely critical to scheduling surgery.

Send site photos via e-mail to photo@caryskincenter.com (type patient’s D.O.B. and initials in subject line).

If you are unable to provide a marked photo of the biopsy site, please call the Cary office at (919) 363-7546 or the Pinehurst office at (910) 295-1761 to schedule a biopsy site photo appointment in our office, free of charge, immediately.

About Cary Skin Center

In 1998, Dr. Clark established the Cary Skin Center, a state-of-the-art outpatient surgical center specializing in Mohs Micrographic Surgery for the removal of skin cancer. Dr. Flynn joined the Cary Skin Center in 2001. Dr. Ingraffea joined the practice in 2018. Together they have successfully treated countless patients in the Triangle and surrounding areas.

Because Mohs surgery is a highly complex and sophisticated surgical method, it requires extensive training. Our doctors have completed intensive training programs, including complex surgical cases and advanced reconstructions, to become Fellows of the American College of Mohs Surgery. In addition, they offer over 65 years of combined Mohs surgery experience.
